Aims and Context and Reflective Analysis A2 Creative Film Project- Gabbii & Will Aims and Context The film genre is social realism as the topic is very contemporary and needs awareness as its so close to home. Short film Target Audience - The film will be called 'Yes Officer' and will be targeted at a mainstream audience around the age of 15 and over. I originally thought of the idea when i was approached by the Warwickshire police and the Bedworth Safer Neighbourhood team and asked me to do a reading of a poem about Domestic Violence. I thought of the idea to use this as stimulus for the creative film project and use the reading as a voice over for the film. We will be variating between roles; Will, will be editing and I will be behind the camera, portraying mise en scene and directing the film.  Reflective Analysis My Creative film Project is based around Domestic Violence awareness. I originally thought of the idea when i was approached by the Warwickshir
La Jetée (1962) La Jetée ("The Jetty", here referring to an outdoor viewing pier at an airport), is a 1962 French Science fiction featurette by Chris marker. Constructed almost entirely from still photos, it tells the story of a post-nuclear War experiment in time travel. It is 28 minutes long and shot in black and white. It won the Prix jean Vigo for short film. The 1995 science-fiction film 12 monkeys was inspired by and borrows several concepts directly from La Jetée.   La Jetée  is constructed almost entirely from  optically printed  photographs playing out as a  photomontage  of varying rhythm. It contains only one brief shot (of the woman mentioned above sleeping and suddenly waking up) originating on a motion-picture camera, this due to the fact that Marker could only afford to hire one for an afternoon. The stills were taken with a  Pentax Spotmatic  and the motion-picture segment was shot with a  35mm   Arriflex . The film has no dialogue aside from small sections

Presentation Script: To What Extent Is Johnny Depp A Method Actor? Speaker:  My three focus films are 'The Rum Diary' (2011), 'Pirates Of The Caribbean; Dead Man's Chest' (2006) and 'Fear And Loathing in Las Vegas'. These films are vital examples of Johnny Depp's museum to method acting. Depp is well known for his huge roles in films and the particular steps/methods he goes through to become the character, known as Method acting. He is well known for this as he can transform to an entirely different person, in order to this Depp would have to prepare for his roles in depth to get into character and completely transform himself as if he's taken on another personality with no traces of the real Johnny Depp. For example in my second focus film, 'Pirates of the Caribbean; Dead man's Chest' (Item 2) there is a scene involving Johnny Depp's character, Captain Jack Sparrow, on a beach holding a jar of dirt. Johnny begins franticall

Annotated Catalogue; To What Extent Is Johnny Depp A Method Actor? Films: Item 1)  The Rum Diary (2011) - I chose to use this film as it highlights how much of a method actor Johnny Depp is, as during the time preparing for the role Johnny Depp actually lived in the basement of the guy whose story it was just to get a good idea of the character in real life and study him so Johnny could be the best he could at his role. For example, whilst Johnny was living in the basement he found a box containing a manuscript for the film The Rum Diary. And because of Depp this film came to life. Item 2)  Pirates Of The Caribbean; Dead Mans Chest (2006) -  I purposefully chose this film as there is a scene involving Johnny Depp's character (Captain Jack Sparrow) on a beach holding a jar of dirt. Johnny begins frantically running about the beach shouting "I've got a jar of dirt I've got a jar of dirt" over and over again. and it turns out this wasn't actually scrip

5. Compare the attitudes to poverty conveyed in the films you have studied for this topic  Scenes; First scenes we see Said and Vinz Scene on the train to paris  In the beginning of the first scene we see a mid shot of Said with his eyes closed and the camera zooming in towards him. To a close up of Saids face and a reverse shot to sow the audience his point of view. We see said looking at rows of police surrounded by lower class area such as blocks of flats and run down shops. The camera then pans across the rows of police and the vans to reveal Said at the back vandalising one of the vans saying "screw the police". This shows Saids lack of respect for the police and most reactions by the estate towards the police. In the estate we see tall tower blocks of flats surrounding Said, as he begins to shout up to call his friend other people shout down in anger from waking them up showing a lot about the estate and the people who live there using language such as "
