Scenes;
First scenes we see Said and Vinz
Scene on the train to paris
In the beginning of the first scene we see a mid shot of Said with his eyes closed and the camera zooming in towards him. To a close up of Saids face and a reverse shot to sow the audience his point of view. We see said looking at rows of police surrounded by lower class area such as blocks of flats and run down shops. The camera then pans across the rows of police and the vans to reveal Said at the back vandalising one of the vans saying "screw the police". This shows Saids lack of respect for the police and most reactions by the estate towards the police. In the estate we see tall tower blocks of flats surrounding Said, as he begins to shout up to call his friend other people shout down in anger from waking them up showing a lot about the estate and the people who live there using language such as "shut up you imbecile" "piss off" and "i hope the cops give you a thrashing". In this next part we are introduced to Vinz seeing his cheaply made gold ring engraved with the name "Vinz". It also shows a lot about Vinz as a character when we first see him as he is still asleep when everyone else is awake, this shows he is lazy as he isn't doing anything. In the mine en scene of Vinz's home we notice a menorah which is a jewish religious object which shows the religion of his home and his family values. Also in the mine en scene we see Vinz's clothing which now days would be seen as 'chav' attire in the idea of tracksuit tops etc. This also links to what rappers would of worn in the 80's and american culture of the time.
In the next scene it is the 3 guys on a train. Here the beggers are asking for money on the train and people are shooing them away and telling them to get out.
